The morning at the Manor began with everyone running around excitedly making preparations, the day already feeling like it had been anticipated much longer than the nine months Jessica + Mike had been together.
Jessica had been an overseas missionary in Europe for 15 years when her seminary studies brought her to Denver. Jessica explains, “we met in March of this year, fell in love, and began celebrating the beauty of life together. We both know brokenness. This is God’s hand of redemption in our story.”
The ceremony was held at the historic Morrison Chapel, a tiny church beside the mountains right down the street from Jessica + Mike’s home.
Their Australian Shepard was the proud ring bearer
Mike’s mom + two sisters played live music for the ceremony.
The night ended in line dancing, handmade desserts, and twinkle lights.
