Kelsey + Kimberley’s Red Feather Lakes elopement began on cozy, rainy summer day in July at a nostalgic + simple ranch in the mountains of Colorado.
Kelsey rode in on horseback to the ceremony, greeted by a small group of his friends + family eagerly awaiting the ceremony.
Kelsey’s mom helped pin his boutonnière onto this jacket, then tucked her own wedding day earrings into Kimberly’s bouquet as a sweet family heirloom addition.
Everyone, including their adorable dog, lined up to await Kimberly’s arrival on horseback.
As soon as Kimberly was met by her daughter to walk down the aisle, a graceful downpour of rain began to fall–a truly magical moment only made more perfect by the unexpected.
The gazebo offered protection from the pouring rain, and under the twinkle lights, surrounded by their all time favorite people, Kimberly + Kelsey made their forever promises.
They shared in a joyous moment of celebration, then were able to ride horseback together through the wild mountains of Colorado–a true old western romance dream.
They enjoyed the rest of the evening relaxing with all their people, surrounded by so much love + beauty, the sweetest Red Feather Lakes elopement.
