Winter Wedding in a Fort Collins Vintage Church

Jaclyn + Tyler’s Wedding

Mountain View Church, Fort Collins, Colorado

January 12, 2019

It was a wedding day that felt like home. In a chapel locals drive by regularly, standing on the corner of Fort Collins’ Old Town for ages, Tyler + Jaclyn’s most intimate people gathered.

Mountain View Church is an old, gorgeously rickety building with tiny stairwells + ornate details only found in artifacts with age. While exploring the church, one can’t help but wonder about all the other stories hidden within these secret nooks.

Their love was born out of a friendship in college, and they bonded over an affection for family + animals. Jaclyn + Tyler are both the humble type, good through + through, love each other purely, and dreamt of an old-fashioned ceremony in their church. You could tell it was everything they imagined as the afternoon sun filtered through the vintage stained glass windows, everything coming into place with the utmost peace + welcome.

Once it was Tyler’s moment to see his long-awaited bride, gentle tears filled his eyes.

They made traditional vows + had their kiss.

After the ceremony, the two snuck away into the back corridors of the church, embracing each other, knowing the arms that would hold them forever.

Everyone headed to the countryside for a reception at Tapestry House + Jaclyn’s family surprised her with her very own horse carriage ride.

Once the sun set, everyone cozied up inside + shared in the celebration of a dream come true for two beloved people who are so deserving of each other.
