Hannah + Gabe’s wedding day was a serene, cozy June afternoon in the Rocky Mountains, with the crisp early summer air smelling of rain–which was absolutely perfect for an intimate wedding celebration.
It all started with a peculiar Will Ferrel quote on Hannah’s tinder profile that had Gabriel swipin’ right while he was bored on his night shift. After they met for the first time, they were inseparable and moved out to the mountains of Colorado for the next step in their adventure.
Gabe wasn’t the only one who showed up to the first look; an elk was hiding in the forest to make the whole day even more magical.
So they got married in the place they love most—surrounded by the serene mountains in Estes Park, and their closest friends + family. They were only expecting their immediate families, due to COVID restrictions on their wedding + everyone needing to travel from their hometown in Louisiana.
The wedding wouldn’t be complete without Gabe + Hannah’s four best friends, so they took a secret flight and showed up at the couple’s house a few nights before the wedding as Uber eats delivery people to surprise them.
After an impromptu dance party at the ceremony site, everyone headed over to a mountainside suite at the famous Stanley Hotel for dinner.
The intimate vibes at the suite allowed the space for each guest to make a heartfelt toast to the couple. Their wedding may have looked far different than Hannah + Gabe imagined due to it taking place in the early stages of COVID, but it could not have been sweeter + more memorable.
