"Come over while we're still in pajamas for 'Thanksmas morning' and we can open presents for some photos!"
SAY. NO. MORE.
That's all it took for me to jet over to the Bisnette's for their annual early-Christmas combined-with-a-Thanksgiving meal while Kurt's parents were in town. There's nothing like being invited into the magic another family sparks during their holidays, while snapping some photos on the side. I love the kooky imperfection of everything; that sometimes the tinies don't care what the camera captures them doing, and the raw emotions a visit from Santa can bring. We too often need to be reminded of what it was like.
When these photos are pulled out + Holden can drive + she laughs at her serious stare, Maverick will love how grandpa helped him play with his toys. Tatum will see the photos in her whimsical childhood room + remember what it was like to be eight years old.
We had another session a few weeks later while Ani's parents were in town! Both sets of parents are so in love with the Bisnette's, they have to travel to them for the holidays.
We braved the cold, then ran inside for ice cream (?) the kids desperately enjoyed. This family has grown so special to me through way of my camera lens. This session I was able to break in my new Nikon camera, thank GAWD! I hope to never stop capturing the brilliant quirks + whimsy.
